The resize output function is broken since forever and doesnt scale properly, resulting in blurry outputs.
Easy way to reproduce:
1. load OBS (Version 32.2.2 on Windows 11) with defaults
2. set a display capture, for example 1920x1080, with same video output 1920x1080
3. remove the display capture and add a window capture, for example of an open Explorer window, which is not fullscreen, capture method Windows 10 >= otherwise half of the window is missing for whatever reason with auto (another bug)
4. now click on the source and select "Resize output (source size)"
5. record video, stop record
The resulting video is blurry / has not the proper pixel perfect size of the window.
If you now select the source and go to Transform => Reset transform, and now record again, the output is pixel perfect and not blurry anymore.
Another issue with the function is, that it doesnt work with cropping. You would expect, that the Resize output (source size) function properly sets the output video resolution to cropped sources too, for example if you crop with ALT a mid section of a source, and then select "Resize output (source size)", and it uses the cropped selection as output video size, but it doesnt. In the old OBS classic this was easily done and this feature is to this day missing in the new OBS.
